Fourth session of the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues

 

The Fourth Session of the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues took place from 16 to 27 May 2005 at the United Nations Headquarters, NY. The special theme for this session was the Millennium Development Goals and Indigenous Peoples, with a focus on Goal 1 - to Eradicate Poverty and Extreme Hunger, and Goal 2 - to achieve universal primary education.  Click here to read the report.
